Bart is an award winning photographer with over 35+ years of professional "working experience". Bart's film and digital work has been featured in numerous local and national publications, billboards, television, advertising, motor sports venues as well as numerous websites, and random art shows. He worked as a photojournalist (Lakeland Ledger, Florida as a stringer) and began event, wedding, real estate and portrait photographer in the early seventies. Receiving the NC Garden Club Photography Icon Award in 2010 for his floral photography. Also working as the photographer/EVS director for Advent Health in Asheville, NC over 18 years..  As a guitarist Bart is passionate about shooting musicians and live concerts. He also excels in motorsports photography which he has been shooting both as a hobby and professionally since the eighties. Photographing thousands of weddings, portraits, engagements, families and even our best friends (woof) over many years.

Bart's knowledge extends far beyond landscape, product and real estate photography these days. His wedding photography creates timeless memories while assuring the experience is fun and artistic. After several requests in 2007 to share what he has learned over many years with others, he was asked to teach photography workshops, mentors high school students and many of those who have recently pursued the craft with the advent of digital photography.

One thing that becomes quickly clear if you spend time viewing Bart's overwhelming portfolio is his versatility, unique perspectives and artistic zen he see's through the lens.  Bart's ability to judge light and shadows, then to build perspectives creating unique compositions, all allows his work to stand out in a crowded genre. You will often hear Bart say with a slight grin, "I am certainly not a landscape photographer, I merely shoot what's around me, some good, some bad and some ugly".
